A performance by Frank Moore

Wildcat Studio, Berkeley, CA

Well, Saturday night’s performance, Dancing In The Passion Cave at the WILDCAT STUDIO was extremely simple…I wasn’t even nude! But it was extremely powerful. The obvious dance was the naked dance between Linda and Erika explicitly expressing the intimate relationship that we are together. The question, are they making love?, was whispered quite a few times during the 3 hours of pleasure being together in a relaxed slowness. Meanwhile I was sitting/talking with Sarah who came to the performance “to find happiness.” Dr. Oblivious and Geoff jammed masterfully living music, playing off of both the dance and what was happening with Sarah and me, melting everything together. The third element of the ritual was the twin black brothers [fans of my B-TV shows] buzzing around the space in their wheelchairs…very cute!

We didn’t even have time to shut the overhead lights off before the magical trance kicked in. I just pulled Sarah from the audience and off we went! Right off the bat she said she doesn’t let ANYONE ever take photos of her…but she would let us video her at the performance. She said she doesn’t like to touch [except her dogs], didn’t have sex/make love, wears layers of clothing ALWAYS  to protect herself from the outside, to make sure she doesn’t lose her self to AN OTHER. Very quickly she and I were holding hands and rubbing NUDE ARMS together!...without her losing her self! Soon I was rubbing her padded bra [I have been running into a lot of them recently!]. By the end of the night she was banging on her bra with a drumstick [inspired by Jen Wilson’s CONGA CUNT], pounding my poems [which she read aloud] into her body! At the end of the night, she said she had found happiness. Guess that performance was a success! And what a way to end a year!
