Art Not Violence:
The Artistic Retaliation to September 11, 2001
OCTOBER 20, 2001
We are going to assemble a show of artistic responses to the recent tragedies in an attempt to promote art therapy and community, instead of violence. We are looking for work done since September 11 that pertains to the events. This show is in no way limited to “artists” and we encourage the participation and submission of work from the larger community. The event will be held in our large, two-storied warehouse and will involve no money transactions. Any medium is encouraged, all political views accepted.
